The CHAMELEON® UPLIGHT is a professional wall-mounted model that offers perfect effectiveness and discretion against flying insects. Thanks to its aesthetic design, it can be placed absolutely anywhere, even in view of the general public, making it perfect for eliminating flies and gnats in restaurant dining rooms, for example.

The CHAMELEON® UPLIGHT is equipped with a 15-Watt shatterproof (no glass breakage or splinters) Quantum® PestWest® tube and a glue board.

How many square meters can this device attract insects to?

The CHAMELEON® UPLIGHT is effective against all types of flying insects within a 40 m² area.

How are flies and other insects trapped?

It is very simple: insects are attracted by the UV light emitted by the Quantum® UV tube fitted in the CHAMELEON® UPLIGHT. Inside the device, there is a glue board onto which the flying insects will literally get stuck after approaching the UV rays.

When should the glue board be changed?

The glue board should simply be replaced when it is full. To give you an idea, generally during the warm season (from April to September), the glue board is changed once a month. During the cold season (from September to March), plan to change the glue board once every 2 months.

And the UV tube, when should it be changed?

The Quantum® PestWest® UV tube should be replaced once a year. It is best to replace it during the month of April in order to optimize UV lighting during the warm season when insects are much more numerous.
