The Mosquito Pioneer trap uses technology that replicates the characteristics of human respiration to attract mosquitoes. To achieve this, a butane gas cylinder must be connected to the machine. The butane is converted into CO2 (carbon dioxide) and mixed with an attractant—either an r-octenol refill (to attract common mosquitoes) or an Atrakta refill (for tiger mosquitoes). This mixture (CO2 + Octenol/Atrakta) is released into the air to draw insects into the machine and capture them in a net.
The Mosquito Magnet Pioneer is a more effective and less toxic solution than the usual repellents and sprays you might use in your garden, for example.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

One of the advantages of the Mosquito Magnet is its ease of assembly.
Once the mosquito trap is assembled, connect the butane cylinder and plug the machine in using the 15m extension cord.
Activate the suction. Mosquitoes are sucked into the capture net.
For the Mosquito to function properly and to achieve maximum protection, place the Mosquito Magnet device 10–15 meters away from the area to be protected. It should be close enough to mosquito breeding grounds (stagnant water, bushes, streams, ponds, pools, under trees, etc.) in a shaded area and downwind from the area being protected. Avoid placing it in tall grass or plants.

Tips and maintenance:
A 13kg gas cylinder allows for approximately one month of use.
It is strongly recommended to change the attractant at the same time as the gas cylinder, i.e., once a month.
