The MUSCADO bucket is a fly trap capable of catching up to 100,000 flies. This fly trap bucket is infinitely reusable, chemical-free and perfectly suited for chicken coops and livestock farms.
This fly control bucket has eight cone-shaped entrances all around the bucket (360°) to capture as many flies as possible.
The MUSCADO bucket is a 100% ecological fly control solution. It does not use any insecticidal, chemical, or toxic products. Therefore, there is no danger to your chickens or other farm animals.
The MUSCADO bucket attracts flies using its supplied natural food bait (6 baits of 18 g included - sold individually on our website) inside the bucket. Each of the 6 bags of 18 grams contains a powder (yeast). The 6 bags are provided with the trap and represent a usage period of 30 to 60 days (manufacturer's data). For full use throughout the summer, remember to get fly trap refills. The bags are water-soluble, meaning they dissolve in water and release the powder.
Outdoor... and indoor use?
Please note, the yeast odors are very strong. If you use the trap indoors, avoid the inside of your home, as the smell will be difficult to endure. However, you can certainly use the MUSCADO fly trap bucket inside a livestock area or in a barn. The yeast is not known to be harmful to livestock.

Instructions for use
1. Open the bucket lid.
2. Insert the cones into the holes provided around the bucket.
3. Place the 6 water-soluble bags inside the bucket.
4. Add 1.5 liters of lukewarm tap water.
5. Once a week, add a little water if needed (the flies must drown).
6. After 60 days, the bait is no longer effective and must be replaced (dispose of the used water in the sewage system; it is safe for the environment).
