The bed bug steam generator is an elimination method that has been used by professionals for several years. It projects a high-temperature dry steam (135°C) to create a thermal shock for insects that they cannot survive. It is an immediate-effect action (shock action) to eliminate all bed bugs at any larval stage (eggs, nymphs, and adults).

This bed bug steam cleaner offers excellent value for money. Other professional cleaners are often more expensive due to their capacity (unsuitable for private individuals) and their wattage (also oversized). These devices cost on average between 600 and 1000 euros and are not suitable for individuals who generally only have 1 or 2 rooms to treat and are facing a one-off problem.

The hot dry steam projected by the generator makes it possible to reach the smallest nooks and hiding places of bed bugs. The steam can be applied to any surface, is odorless, and leaves no residue. Its 3.5-bar pressure power allows the steam to be projected more than 20 cm.

It is a 100% organic solution since it is a natural method that uses high temperature to destroy insects. No toxicity or harmful substances are used, so there is no risk to humans or pets.

Note that the steam projected by the device contains less than 7% water, which prevents burns and potential accidents. You can, therefore, pass your finger through the steam (even at 1 centimeter) and you will not get burned! The device itself only heats up on the inside, so you do not feel heat when you hold it in your hand.

The generator is equipped with a 450ml tank. The capacity of the cleaner allows you to thoroughly treat a 50m2 room without having to refill it with water. It is therefore unnecessary to have a device with a larger capacity (usually several liters), which is better suited to professionals who have to do several rooms (hotels, for example).

Its 900W power allows it to deliver steam at the nozzle outlet of 135°C, which is more than enough to cause the death of bed bugs. Indeed, these insects cannot survive above 48°C, so it is totally useless to go beyond 135°C, which would constitute an increase in energy costs (and consumes more electricity...). The 900W power of the steam cleaner is therefore more than sufficient.

The cleaner is equipped with accessories such as:

USING THE STEAM GENERATOR:

Nothing could be simpler: no need for products, just water! Add 450ml of cold tap water then plug in the device. Wait about 5 to 10 minutes for the steam to be available.

Project the steam directly onto the surfaces at a distance of about 1 to 3 cm to maintain the temperature for 2 to 3 seconds. You will therefore need to pass slowly and close to the area to be treated.

Once the treatment is finished, drain the remaining water in your sink to protect the device from any potential rust.
