The Biogents Mosquitaire device is a highly effective mosquito protection (trap) (and specifically targets tiger mosquitoes); it is eco-friendly, non-toxic, odorless, and silent.
The EU BG-Mosquitaire kit comes with accessories and an improved air intake nozzle. It is equipped with a flap that closes automatically as soon as the trap is no longer powered by electricity. As a result, captured mosquitoes cannot escape.
Can be used for treatment around terraces, garden gazebos, craft and agricultural workshops, garages, or even small industrial premises. It provides continuous protection thanks to a refill that can be effective for up to two months.

No insecticide or pesticide is used in the device's mechanism; this is a 100% natural solution. Its system has a fan that creates an upward air current, mimicking the warm air currents produced by a human being, which attracts tiger mosquitoes. This same fan also creates a downward air current that sucks nearby mosquitoes into the trap, where they dehydrate and die.

The Biogents Mosquitaire is not a threat to insects such as bees, butterflies, or ladybugs. It is not dangerous for the environment: it acts exclusively against mosquitoes and tiger mosquitoes.

Usage tips
Offering a very high capture rate, the Biogents Mosquitaire mosquito trap should be positioned to obtain optimal results. For this, it is recommended to place the device protected from the wind, in the shade, and about one meter away from vegetation or any potential water points. You can also test several different locations to see where the mosquitoes are caught more frequently, as the situation may prove slightly different depending on temperature, wind, or humidity levels. The Mosquitaire is rain-resistant, but it is advised not to leave it out too long in heavy rain to maintain its physical integrity. Mosquitoes will appear more after several days of showers, as larvae multiply depending on the number of potential water points established in the surroundings.

In case of very heavy infestations (including tiger mosquitoes), we recommend the use of biological larvicides such as Vectobac WG.
