Anoxia Treatment

The Smart Anoxia will lower the oxygen level inside the hermetically sealed tent. The oxygen level will stabilize at less than 0.1% for 21 days, allowing for the elimination of insects at all stages of their development (eggs, larvae, pupae, adults). This is a technique used since the 80s in major museums to protect their collections from insect attacks. Its main advantage is that it is non-chemical and allows for the perfect preservation of treated objects. It is, therefore, a device adapted for treating furniture and other valuable objects.

Principle

Using the reflective plastic films, you enclose your object in a pouch that you create. Thanks to oxygen and moisture absorbers, the oxygen in your bubble will be removed over a period of 3 to 4 weeks. Using your router and control box, you can monitor the progress of the treatment and the stabilization of temperature and humidity.

1. Unroll your Polybarrier plastic film to create the base of your Anoxia Bubble.	2. Place the objects you are going to treat on the base of your Anoxia bubble.
3. Wrap the Polybarrier film around the objects to create your Anoxia bubble. Use the heat sealer to close the corners and make your bubble airtight.	4. Turn on the control remote and place it in the bubble. Finally, place the oxygen absorber in the bubble before sealing everything.
5. Check that the router is on and placed near the bubble. The treatment is now self-controlled and can be monitored from any device connected to the Internet.	As soon as you receive your alert for the end of the treatment, you can safely open the bubble by cutting the ends. The film is reusable.
